VC America Inc. started 2002 with supply of performance mixed signal IC’s and packaging technology for the Americas, and with emphasis for component parts used in hybrid clock manufacturing, and developed expertise for frequency control products. Over time they have added test, subassemblies, and services and expanded products to include micro and nanoprecision positioning encoders and high stability oscillator products for extended temperature range applications.

VC America developed technology advances temperature stability of standard crystal oscillators (with low noise jitter and phase noise), and enables both better stabilities and wider temperature for ranges. Recent products introduced offer versions at -40°C to 105°C, -55°C to 105°C, -55°C to 125°C. Specialized clock and RTC products are capable of operation to 200°C.

Miniaturized high accuracy mechanical positioning and motion control: VC America provides complete encoder modules kits(module plus scale) for 1µ and 5µ resolution for integration with precision mechanical systems, and also supply component parts for customers manufacturing their own encoder modules. Low -160dB phase noise floor and low deterministic jitter. 2.5MHz to 55MHz CMOS output. Packaged in 3.2mm X 2.5mm X 0.9mm ceramic LCC. HSA series 5×7 and HSJ series 9x14mm provide plug-in upgrades/replacements for existing systems.
